Please note, we do flightcheck before production, if there are issues relating to the design being compatible with our machinery, our team will provide you feedback to correct this when possible. In cases for those who are not design literate, and are choosing to submit a job that can go through but is not optimal, we understand this is your best and will provide high quality printing of a design which may be questionable. For those who wish to correct problems, and need assistance with our creative team, we can assist, and would like to quote on your artwork project.
This is the portion of your design that is trimmed away when your appointment card is cut to it's final size. Using bleed edges correctly will make sure your design & image layout reach to the edge of the appointment card, having no white paper edge showing. Use a 2mm bleed edge on each of the 4 sides of the design.
This is the zone inside the finished trim. It's smaller than your final appointment card size, the safe area is kept away from the final size, and protects information you do not want our guillotine blades cutting. You would not like to see a name cut in half, or a logo missing something.. So keep your text or any elements around 5mm away from the edge of the business card.
