Please note, we do flightcheck before production, if there are issues relating to the design being compatable with our machinery, our team will provide you feedback to correct this when posible. In cases for those who are not design litterate, and are choosing to submit a job that can go through but is not optimal, we understand this is your best and will provide high quality printing of a design which may be questionable. For those who wish to correct problems, and need assistance with our creative team, we can assist, and would like to quote on your artwork project.

Bleed Edges

This is the portion of your design that is trimmed away when your flyer is cut to it's final size. Using bleed edges correctly will make sure your design & image layout reach to the edge of the flyer, having no white paper edge showing. Use a 2mm bleed edge on each of the 4 sides of the design.

Safe Margin

This is the zone inside the finished trim. It's smaller than your final flyer size, the safe area is kept away from the final size, and protects information you do not want our guilotine blades cutting. You would not like to see a name cut in half, or a logo missing something.. So keep your text or any elements around 5mm away from the edge of the flyer.

Folding Safe Margins

As well as an outer safe text margin being a zone that protects text & elements of choice, inner margins prevent unsighly positioning of text, graphics, photos from being folded. We recomend that the following measurements are honoured. A4 roll fold to DL or tri fold 6pp - 297mm edge fold - open the document out as page 1 facing to the right. Measureing right to left 100mm FOLD 100mm FOLD 97mm edge of paper.  On the rear side, reverse these measurments, measuring left to right as 100mm Fold 100mm Fold 97mm edge of paper. The safe margins would be 5mm either side of the folds. When folding as 4pp or folding in half 297 folds to 148.5, leave a 5mm safe margin either side. For A3 297 x 420, most cases this product has a 4pp fold, being made on the 420mm edge, folding at 210mm, leave a 5mm margin either side.

Allways remember, it's ok, not to fill the whole document with stuff, just becuase you have space. Sometimes less is more!
